Randy Bennett

Director of Island Swimming Association

Randy Bennett has been the Director of Island Swimming and head coach since 2002 and is now Head Coach of a new high performance program called the Victoria Academy of Swimming.

Aaron Dahl

VASC Head Coach

Aaron brings many years of experience in developing great athletes, coaches, and club programs. Aaron has developed athletes at all levels and has produced swimmers to provincial records, and provincial/national team appointments.

Neil Harvey

National Group Coach and Founder of Tyee

Neil is a Level IV coach and has been coaching competitive swimming in Canada for more than 30 years.

Cindy Mabee

TAG and Dynamo Entry Coach

Cindy joined the Island Swimming coaching staff in 2002. She is a certified NCCP Level III coach.

Gord Veldman

Crush and Coho JDF Head Coach

Gord joined Island Swimming under the mentorship of Randy Bennett in 2007, where he assisted Randy with the National and Senior Groups. Gord is a NCCP Level I skills coach and is currently working on his Level II certification.
