Comox 12 & Under

Last weekend our Intro Comp and Regional groups headed up to Comox for the Sharks 12&U Jamboree, and what a fun-filled meet it turned out to be! From start to finish, the energy was high and the smiles were everywhere.

A huge congratulations to Wren M, who qualified for VIRs in the 100 Freestyle, an exciting milestone and well deserved after all the hard work in the pool! We also had an incredible group of swimmers who achieved 100% best times across the weekend: Oscar B, Leliana C, Aubrey H, Eliana P, Audrey R, Drew R, Thea S, Taya S, and Olivia W. Racing personal bests in every event is no small feat, and it was amazing to see so many swimmers step up and perform.

Beyond the racing, the team spirit was fantastic. The cheering never stopped, teammates supported one another from the stands, and swimmers had lots of fun spending time outside together between races. These moments are such a big part of what makes swim meets so exciting.

One of the biggest highlights was the 8 x 25 T-shirt relay. Swimmers raced their length while wearing a T-shirt and then passed it to the next teammate before they could go. It brought lots of laughs and plenty of cheering from everyone on deck.

Overall, it was a really positive weekend of racing and teamwork. Great job everyone!
