| Group | Description | Sessions/ Week |
National | The National group is for swimmers aiming to excel at the National level. Swimmers in this group are self motivated, driven and demonstrate an unparalled committment to their swimming. Swimmers in this group are expected to train year round and attend all training sessions and competitions barring illness or injury. (Ages 14+) | 7-8 (16 Hours) |
Provincial Group | The Provincial group is for swimmers aiming to excel at the Divisional and Provincial level. Swimmers in this group are expected to train September through July, attend 90%+ of practices and both local as well as travel meets. (Ages 11+) | 7 (13.5 Hours) |
Regional Group | The Regional group is for swimmers who are developing fundamental skills for long term success in competitive swimming. These swimmers will be competing at local, and travel meets within the Vancouver Island region. Swimmers will train from mid September through June. (Ages 10-13) | 6 (9.5 Hours) |
Intro Comp SCP & JDF | The Intro Competitive SCP/JDF groups are for swimmers who are new to competitive swimming. Swimmers in these groups will learn basic technique in all 4 strokes, and foundational skills for long term success in competitive swimming through a fun, engaging learning environment. Swimmers in this group will compete at meets on Vancouver Island area and will train from mid September through June, and attend minimum 75% of practices . (Ages 8-10) | 4 (5.5 Hours) |
