Liaison programs are registered like swimming lessons but taught by Island Swimming instructors.
We are currently offering Swim Skills Jr & Swim Skills Sr at Crystal Pool and Island Wave Skills at Commonwealth Pool
New for 2022! Island Swim Skills at Crystal Pool
For swimmers from 3 - 13. No minimum requirement
Island Swim Skills is registered like a swimming lesson, but coached by Island Swimming coaches. This is the ideal lessons program for those seeking expert instruction and more water time than typical programs.
Island Swim Skills Junior: Recommended ages 3 – 7.
Encompassing levels 1 – 4, Island Swim Skills Junior takes children from non-swimmer, to comfortable, to confident in the water. Small class sizes ensure that your child gets plenty of positive active time.
Island Swim Skills Senior: Recommended ages 6 – 13.
Encompassing levels 5 – 10, Island Swim Skills Senior encourages swimmers to continue expanding their aquatic skillset and fitness. Swimmers learn a variety of techniques and how they can be applied to the aquatic world for sport, for work, or for fun.
Registration: If your child is able to comfortably swim 25m of face-in Front Crawl, please register in Island Swim Skills Senior. Otherwise, please register in Island Swim Skills Junior.
Register directly with Crystal Pool. Programs will be viewable on their website on August 17th with registration opening August 22nd at 9am
Island Wave Skills at Commonwealth Pool
For swimmers from 4 - 7. No minimum requirement
Island Wave Skills is registered through Commonwealth Pool like a swimming lesson but is taught by Island Swimming coaches.
Island Swim Skills is very similar to Island Swim Skills Junior and includes an emphasis on developing stronger swim skills and confidence in the water.
Small class sizes ensure that your child gets plenty of positive active time.
